I met this smart, funny, nerdy, feminist, beautiful woman online. We really hit it off. So we make plans for her to come visit me in Maine and as the date approaches she gets less and less responsive until nothing. Did I text her too much? Was she just not ready to fly across the country and stay with me? It doesn't really matter. Either way there's nothing I can do. I miss her though. For a while I thought it was just the attention I missed, but it's her. So why am I a fool? I'm a fool because I continued to text after I suspected she was done with me. I'm a fool because I texted her happy thanksgiving long after I knew she was done with me. I'm a fool because I want there to be some way to make her want me again.
