blog, blog, bloggity blog.
i logged in last night for the first time in forever. long enough, to where SG reset my password for me and effectively locked me out. arghhh...
i have to thank jaytan for reminding me i was still on here. i forgot how much fun this site can be.
waiting for me here, was my acceptance into SGLA (which i requested about 50 years ago) which was a pleasant surprise.
another pleasant surprise was an invite from my lovely new friend puellaris. she seems really cool, and the best part is that she doesn't live in LA like everyone else in the universe. and while i'm on the subject of LA:
why the fuck are LA people so averse to driving south of the 10 freeway? they act like they need a passport to do it. like if they leave LA, they will grow weaker by the mile, eventually dying somewhere between carson and santa ana, which for them would be the worst location for death ever, afterall: it's not LA.
this was inspired partially by a mildly retarded friend of mine that is from the silver feliz area of lowse anhelless. long story short, she didn't realize until the day of that the faint/passion pit show we were supposed to see was in anaheim and not the center of the universe, LA. this threw her into a panic, as she had never been faced with the scary reality of a 45 min drive south of the cradle of civilization. needless to say, she was overcome by sheer terror. panic stricken, and frozen by fear, she was barely able to reach her keyboard. with every ounce of strength she had left, she managed to type "i don't think i'm gonna go then. that's too far. i can't do traffic."
my reply? "fuck you, pay me." a la goodfellas. it's always great when you can use a cool movie line in real life, even if it's only because you're gonna miss a great show.
so yeah, it's good to be back.
