The SG Prom was definitely one of the more unique events of the year, even for San Francisco. Walking into the Red Devil Lounge was like stepping into a SuicideGirls meta-set; a kind of fantastic display of part real, part surreal burlesque intimacy. A few cocktails to flesh out the surreal part, I was quickly engaged, photographing anyone around. Opportunity presented itself easily as everyone was decked out in full attire, some as if they had been stripped right off the proverbial page. The photobooth sideshow quickly became an event itself while the Hot Toddies rocked the prom into the night.
