Busy busy day. Bunch of friends in from outta town for this pop music conference -- I met some pretty cool music writer folks for the first time as well, including novelist Darcey Steinke who is hott I gotta say!

Delgados were fucking fabulous live, the string section just kicks serious ass. I love them. Ran into Spiral Stairs who I forget lives here now and was talking about Pavement touring with the Delgados and how nice those guys are and the kinda alcoholic debauchery they got into together...

Life is great tonight I just wish I was gonna get some more fucking sleep! Up early tomorrow to go see some academic dude who's s'posed to be rad talk about the blues.
