Well, last day of my mini vacation here. What did I do? Well, I DIDN'T start that painting I wanted to start. I did rent some movies (American Psycho, SLC Punk, and City of Lost Children as old favs I hadn't seen in a while, and the Stewie Griffon Story, and some ultra low budget zombie movie as new views). I did some cleaning around the house. I started a new exercise routine after deciding that my weight hasn't gone down the last few weeks.
I hung out with my roommates 14 year old son a lot during the time off. She ignores him for the most part. I think that's criminal. I make sure he eats because she never makes food for him, or even checks in to see if he even HAS food. I hang out with him, watch movies, or just talk with him so he isn't left alone too much. Kind of eats into my time to do things, but I figure someone better be taking care of him when he's here (he goes to his dad's house half the time). He's a cool kid though, smarter than his mom so I don't mind too much, just wish I had more time to myself sometimes when he's here. Maybe could have started that painting hehe. Oh well, plenty of time for it later.
I still have 7 work days left of paid vacation that I have to use before January. That's 2 more 5 day weekends if I plan it right, then a 3 day weekend, or a mid week day off. I should spend part of it going to visit my family in Maine. My brother has a Hookah Lounge in Portland, Maine that I'd like to see, and I've promised myself to try to be better at visiting mom and dad as well. Not sure what's going on with my sister.
