I found out I am from the 1700s last night, which greatly astonished thou
Yes, much rejoicing was had when I saw the Chiefs last night, for it was a splendid evening and I met the beautiful maidens Nadine and Tilly.
I was there handing out flyers for the band to every poor soul who crossed my path on their way in last night. I'd found out that morning that N&T were coming so I thought I might spot them. What I didn't expect was them to be every bit as gorgeous and lovely as they are in the flesh, and to be wearing every bit of merchandise from the SG shop.
I now have a theory that all the SGs walked round naked until they were discovered, photographed and then given clothes from the SG shop. Admit guys, I may right about this one. No one believed me when I said Vanilla Ice murdered Michael Jackson and stole his identity. People laughed at me when I suggested the A Team could be based on fact, but I seriously like the idea of my SG theory standing up. One, because it means that theres a possibility of loads of hot women wondering the streets naked waiting to be discovered, and two it makes SG officially a charity so therefore we all have something to be very proud of.
Anyway, the girls looked lovely last night and as Nadine was on official photojournalism duty I spent most of my time chatting to Tilly.
I should take a moment to mention the whole night wouldn't have been possible without my friend Fay, the amazing but extremely quiet girl who with puts up with my shit so she has someone to go to gigs with. I tried to teach her that dancing is allowed anywhere music is played loud and she's tried to teach me that a cup of tea is a perfectly acceptable drink at outdoor events. We've both failed.
I had to mention that because as much as I love Fay I completely ignored her the whole evening as I was absorbed in Tilly's hotness. I couldn't help it, she's sweet, funny and very very sexy. When you meet someone you have so much in common with you can't help but bond
It was one of those times where you meet someone and you know immediately you life is better for it. A friendship worth pursuing I reckon. She's just the right side of crazy and that's good enough for me.
Just realised this entry is quite long and I haven't evening described the gig. It was awesome, a short set due to the fact they've only got one album but worth every minute. Ricky Wilson sings like he means it and performs with a real verve. He stage dived into the crowd at one point and it took so long for him to clamber out that Nick had to finish singing the song. Classic stuff The best bits were probably singing along to Born To Be A Dancer, Ricky's tits, Tilly creaming herself seeing Simon the bassist rocking it out, and me practically breaking down to Caroline, Yes in the encore. To say I got absorbed in the gig is a mild understatement. I'm going to see them again at Glastonbury and I can't wait.
Anyway, best be off. I got lots of shit to do and I didn't get up til noon so I'm well behind.
Laters.
