I hate my job. Not in the cliche 'what I erally want to do is sit on my arse and do nothin' kind of way but of all the things I'm missing!
I work every weekend. My weeks are free but of course this puts me out of sync with everyone else. It's actually got to the point where I have to ask the barman of the local what's happening with my flatmates. Kirk and Hayley broke up! Matt's going on a blind date! Ben's phone is broken and his girlfriend doesn't know he's in Bristol! I feel like I'm in a parallel universe, that I don't really live with these people. I know television characters better than my friends and I only work 2 days a week!
I suppose I could blame the guys, they're the ones asleep at the moment. They are the ones that go out on the piss at every free moment. But why do they have to do significant actions on the weekends! Why has Bristol got amazing events practically every weekend. Glastonbury, Harbourside Festival, Balloon Fiesta. There was the massive Attack gig but of course with all my friends working I didn't go.
It's no ones fault I just needed a grumble. Still I know I can get a few together to go to Propaganda at the level tonight so I shouldn't complain.
Laters.
