My Working Conditions Have Put Me In An Odd Place....
Let Me Start By Explaining Them.
I Work Two Separate Jobs, The Game Attic And T.A. Slammers.
I Have Worked On And Off For The Game Attic Over The Past Five Years And Have Gained A place Just Under The Owner. And Because Of That And My Other Job I get very Little Time To Play Video Games Anymore, But The Pay Is Well Worth It. As A Matter Of Fact i Just Got A $1000 Bonus.
My Second Job Is At T.A. Slammers, A Locally Owned Dive Bar. My Lil Brother Is Engaged To The Owner's Daughter And Has been With Her For The Past Six Years. He Is The Bar's Best Selling Bartender, And I Am His Main Promoter. In Less Than A Year We Have Doubled The Thursday And Sunday Night Sales And Sometimes Topped The Weekend Sales!
Between The Two Of These I Work Upwards Of 70 Hours A Week, With Tax Season Kicking In And Superbowl This Weekend I Have Been In Overdrive And It Finally Caught Up With Me On Friday, When I Passed Out From Exhaustion And Didn't Wake For Nearly 16 Hours!
That Is Not The Only Thing Tough, Thursday At The Game Attic, Steve, The Owner And I Got Into A Personal Conversation. During The Process He Asked Me About My Friends, If Any Of Them Were Going Anywhere In Life And If I Had Any Close Friends. His Argument Was That I Went For Quantity Over Quality. This IS The List Of People That Met Both Criteria And How I Know Them.

From Lakeland:
Sara Lou
Shawn, My Lil Brother
Rachel, His Fiance
Yep, A Short List. And The SGFL Crew I Just Started Hanging Out With them Again At The Beginning Of 2009. Sara And I Have Been Fighting Since The Beginning Of 2009 And She Now Lives In Bradenton. And That Only Leaves Shawn And Rachel, Whom Are Family So It Doesn't Really Count, Now Does It?
I Live Quite The Fantastic Lifestyle For One Who Loves To Party But It Can Be Quite Lonely And Stressful. I never Thought I'd See The Day Where I Dread Going To The Bar And Drinking For Free. As the Saying Goes "Can't Stop, Won't Stop" And The Party Continues! Another Day, Another Dollar.

I totally know the feeling. It feels like you have a million ppl to party with but the list of ppl who would drop all that to stay home and listen to your problems and be a "real friend" is very short. I'm in that transition time of trying to find my true friends. It wears on you most definitely!
