sorry to hear about your friend being stupid. at the same time, i've done that to friends before, and usually it has nothing to do with "wearing the wrong shoes to dinner" but more to do with something else that i am really unhappy about, whether it has to do with the offending friend or not. then again, you know your friends better than i do smile so maybe that's not the case.
