I thought the guy who shot him did it because a). he was nuts, and b). because he was nuts, he thought that some of Pantera's songs were really his, and he was mad at Dimebag for "stealing" them... I also heard that he was discharged from the Marines because of his mental state, and that he would talk to himself often, etc. etc... He was out of his mind...
