The last week at work has been something if not crazy.
Last Tuesday I recieved a call to the local hospital. It seems a patient had decieded to leave while she was being treated. She was being treated for drug use (cocaine) and during her tenor there, she expressed suicidal thoughts. Well she left because she felt the hospital was taking too long in getting her a room at a mental hospital. The emergency room Doctor and Nurse advised that her history and what she was saying, she was a threat to the general public and herself. Well I find the girl at her Mothers house. The Mother allows me into the home and as I explain to her why I am there, the daughter walks out of the shower and I explain to her why I am there. She starts to tell me she doesn't want to go and I told he that her case worker at the mental clinic at the hospital has already started the paperwork in order for her to be commited. Well I give her the option of walking out or in handcuffs. She still is saying she is not going and once I put on the handcuffs, like she turned into Ms. Hyde.
This girl was about five foot four, one hundred ten pounds, if that. And she was STRONG AS FUCK! She started to buck against me, knocking me back. Then she sat down on the floor and wrapped her legs around the bed frame and would not let go. I had to call for a back-up officer in order to get her in my police unit. She was so high, she started to kick the back window of my unit, it has bars on it to prevent it from being broken out, and banging her head on it.
Yesterday, I run as back up for another officer and we are in route to a call of a son beating up his sixty-three year old Father. Well we both arrive and walk into the house and the reporting party tells us the son was in the back room. I walk around a counter connecting the kitchen and living room. The son walks out of a room at the rear of the house and starts to walk towards me in an aggressive manner. I tell him to stop and he starts to fiddle with his hands and then throws an object underhand and strikes me in the duty belt and bounces off. The object comes to rest and I see it's a open knife, about five inches in length. So I tell him to lay on his stomach in order to be cuffed, while I'm pulling my taser. He doesn't comply, so I deploy my taser and hit him in the chest. One thing they forgot to tell us was he was drunk. So this guy starts to wrap the wires around his arm, attemping to break the wires supplying the current. So he succeeds in severing the connection and is still standing there. So I replaced my cartridge and tase him again. He does it again, wrap the wires around his arm and breaks the wires, so the other officer deploys his taser and finally the fucker goes down.
It was funny, dude was walking around with six prongs sticking out of his chest with all these wires around him.
Fucker was lucky I didn't shoot him.
