My story thus far...
In March of 2009 I decided to embark on a journey that would forever change the course of my life in it's entirety. I didn't wanna be one of those guys that stayed in the same town he grew up in. It's in our nature to explore, to discover new territories. I had lived in Orange County California most of my life. It was all that I knew. As wonderful as these experiences were to me i knew eventually it wouldn't satify my need for adventure. I joined the military after high school and got orders for San Diego. I felt in love with the city...the people, the topography. I traveled throughout the Pacific rim, visited a dozen countries and knew that traveling became a huge part of who I am. At 27 I had been out of the service for 5 years and my life had dug itself into a nice little rut. My friends weren't doing much with their lives. Hanging out with the same friends, opening for the same bands, the same after parties. My life had reached a point of homogenous boredom and I knew that only I had the power to change that. So exactly one year ago I came out to Cleveland to visit my family; my father, cousins, aunts, uncles and my grandmother. It was bittersweet to be reunited with a family I barely knew growing up. I missed that feeling of being around those related to you, the genetics, the personality traits, the feeling of home. Upon my return to CA I began tying up my losing ends and saying my goodbyes. I packed up all my belongings and stuffed them into a U-haul trailer. I hooked the trailer to my van and embarked on my journey from Irvine to Cleveland. The drive here was life changing, an experience I may never have again. I've been out here for 9 months now. I'm currently working 3 jobs as I try to save $$ for new music equipment and new ink. I want to be a part of the SG army...I want to meet fellow musicians, talented tattoo artists and beautiful women. I figured that being a member of SG was a step in the right direction.
