i think everyone should do what i'm doing. i remember when someone would get their set live from 500 member review votes. now they can get up to 2000 before they go pink. its just like facebook where everyone is trying to get as many friends as possible...
a specific fundamental set of beliefs and practices generally agreed upon by a number of persons or sects: the Christian religion; the Buddhist religion.

the life or state of a monk, nun, etc.: to enter religion.
the practice of religious beliefs; ritual observance of faith.
something one believes in and follows devotedly; a point or matter of ethics or conscience: to make a religion of fighting prejudice.
i'm not sayin its a bad book, but these people are defining arbitrary rules based on a work of fiction. and its not like i'm going around telling them they are all idiots and have it wrong, i usually play along and follow the same set of arbitrary rules. but i guess that my opinion isnt as valid as other people's.
here's an example. the first time i noticed was one of the threads a bunch of people were talking about how to live sustainably (which is actually an economic term, not a way of life) after the zombie apocalypse, how there would be no more oil and no more electricity and how we were all going to have to figure out how to live again.
so i simply chimed in and asked why and stated that if as they represent the majority of the human race is gone, why is all of a sudden the years of oil reserves suddenly gone? the us has about 40 years worth at our current consumption level held in reserve all across the US. if only 10% of the people survive that will last hundreds if not thousands of years as the majority of heavy petroleum use in industrial settings will be virtually eliminated. and then why would we no longer have any power? most reactors run themselves as long as someone keeps feeding it fuel...but something like a nuclear reactor, if the power consumption was reduced drastically, wouldn't need new fuel for quite a while. so some areas might never have any kind of power loss depending on the length of the zombie menace.
i didnt start out to poke holes in their story, but one guy was referencing an end of the world book that had nothing to do with zombies and the world was destroyed by aliens. and everyone else on the thread was like "that makes so much sense, everything WILL be destroyed during the zombie apocalypse". and when i said that book has absolutely zero to do with zombies they all jumped on me for that too.
i'm sorry i clearly offend people with logic, but if we're going to dive into a fantasy world, its got to at least make some kind of sense, even if that sense follows a set of fake rules. my point being, either zombies are smarter than they are allowed to be and they know how to destroy the important shit, or we literally become dumber than zombies and cut our own power lines for literally no reason other than we apparently no longer like electricity.
so needless to say i think i'm done with that group.
