So I work in the bookstore at a company called the A.R.E. (Association for Research and Enlightenment). It's an organization geared toward uplifting peoples' spirituality. Not in a religious way, just in general. It was founded by Edgar Cayce, a prominent 20th-Century American psychic. I could go on about the organization itself for ages, but I want to get to the good part.
Every so often, we'll have a conference, when people come from all over the world to hear lectures from guest speakers and buy stuff from the store. Today, we got the final listings of who is coming to speak for the rest of the year (Yes. They do it that far in advance.) And for the Ancient Mysteries conference, who better to speak than Giorgio A. Tsoukalos! Yes! The Ancient Aliens guy!
I cannot wait until October when all this is happening!

Lol. It's fun. I meet a lot of really nice people, and a lot of really crazy people. Best of both worlds.
