Only a few more weeks till I'm back home!! Not soon enough, its already 110 here during the day!

I also found out I may be going to Ottawa mid-June for a conference for a few days. Anyone from/been there that can recommend things to do while I'm there? Daytime will probably be spent in meetings so night life/bars and whatnot would be appreciated

Well its once again been forever and a day since the last blog, one of these days I'll get better at my frequency, but probably not.

Less than a month till my birthday, then less than a month after that till I finally get to back to Jax. I can't wait to hit the beach.

Merry Christmas from the Far East.

Thankfully North Korea hasn't started World War III yet so things have been mostly quiet this deployment so far, but we'll see how everything pans out.

Okinawa is a pretty cool place, have only been able to leave the base a handful of times though, but I'm looking forward to exploring.

That's really about it I guess...

Only a few more days till I deploy again for another 6 months. Back to the desert again, but at least this time I get to go to Japan first for a few months. Though that may actually turn out worse if North Korea keeps doing crazy shit, but who knows.

I'm just glad to be getting back to the simplistic life of deployment, work...

Well it's been months so time for another update. Unfortunately my St. Patty's day was filled with mixed emotions. My parent's dog of 6 years was hit by a car and killed. They just got a new puppy about a week ago, another chocolate lab that will probably be over 100lbs full grown. He gets to meet his niece for the first time this Thursday...

It has been a crazy week. I've already been down to Haiti twice since Thursday to lend some help. Thankfully the destruction isn't as bad as the news makes it out to be but it's still bad. Got stuck in Maine for a day, then Spain for a day, been in Sicily since last Friday with no clue when I'll be back stateside. It could be friday, it could be 3 weeks. Long story short we need to take a plane out to Sicily so I basically get a little mini vacation for the next week or so, should be a good time, so if i disappear for the next few days or whatever thats where I'm at
