What purpose does poison ivy serve?

It's evil.

I found the rash on my right arm on tuesday night. maybe like 5-10 little bumps with two larger bumps. I have been very careful not to scratch it and put caladryl on it. Now i have like 25 little bumps (plus the two bigger bumps) on my right arm and i now am finding smallish bumps on my left arm. I hope this does not spread like it does on my dad.

time to get some claritin or benadryl.
