The chicks are all hatching and life is going smoothly at work and I am on days off.

I am a dorky birder, and I got a new bird on my life list this week, I saw a black tern. And more coyotes than I'd like to admit.

And more deer flies than I'd like to have met. I started counting how many I hit, but only because the day before I smacked so many of the little things that I thought I should start the tally.

tues - 23
wed - 18
today - 3 (it was windy, so there weren't as many to hit)

but honestly, when you make a contest out of it, you forget that they are big nasty deerflies.
