I'm one of those people that LOVE to watch the Olympics. Summer or winter...it doesn't matter! I will try and watch as much as I can. I watch as much live Olympics as I can...and whatever I can't watch live...I'll watch off of the DVR. I usually have the DVR set to record everything...just in case...and with as much Olympics coverage as there is...the DVR fills up quickly. I didn't always have the desire to watch the Olympics as much as I do now. When I was younger...I barely watched it. It's not that I disliked the Olympics...I just didn't wanna watch it much for some reason. It would be hella dope to actually get to go to the Olympics some day to see some of the events in person! Have any of you ever had the opportunity to see the Olympics in person? Do you have a favorite event? I really like the snowboarding events...just about any of them. I would have to say those are some of my favorite events to watch.
An update on how my grandma is doing... I went to the nursing home yesterday with my mom and dad to visit my grandma. She's been there for about a month recovering from a couple of surgeries. One of which was to remove a tumor from her colon. She's doing very well. Considering she's 92...she's recovering beautifully. In fact...there's a possibility that she may even get to go home tomorrow. She's really been missing being at her home. She's always been a very independent woman. Never really had to rely on anyone to take care of her. I hope it does work out for her to get to go home tomorrow!
I wrote about as much of my dream that I had two nights ago in yesterday's blog...and it was pretty weird as shit. I don't remember as many details about last night's dream...but lemme tell you...what I do remember is weird as shit too. The first thing I remember is...Michael Jackson's kids were in my dream. I was playing checkers with Prince and Blanket. Paris was in it too...but she was watching us play checkers. Pretty crazy huh? I have absolutely no idea how they ended up in my dream. I don't remember seeing them or anything about Michael Jackson on TV nor do I remember thinking about them when I was awake. The only other thing I remember was being back in school. But the school was at a truck stop. I was taking a math test. And...that's it. Not as many details as yesterday...but weird as shit nonetheless. lol
