Ok.
Today... was fucking incredible.
I picked Jenna up at around 5:45 or so and we headed to the city. I could barely shut up the whole way there I was so excited. I dropped her off in midtown and made my way down towards Canal.
I got to Sacred at around, 7:30-ish or so. I hung around until Nikki was ready. She still had to close the shop and whatnot, so at around 8 o'clock we started fucking around with our idea.
I wanted the piece to be bigger than the original... and it's much bigger than that. So yeah. She re-traced the stencil and during that point, Brian showed up. So I talked to him for a little bit until we got started. Nikki shaved part of my leg and put the stencil on.. just a couple of inches below the back of my knee. I ok'd the placement and then we started.
Some parts of the outline were kinda touchy (namely the tail.. which goes up into where my knee bends). But we just kept going. I called up/texted a slew of people during the process... one of which being my cousin Adrienne, who lives in Ohio. She didn't pick up but called me back like a minute later.. She happened to be in the city. How fucking random is that? She showed up at the shop and hung around for just a little bit. Man, it was great to see her... I was supposed to go visit a few weeks ago, but shit happens. I'll go sometime soon, I swear.
So Adrienne left, and we kept going. At around 12:00 we were finished, after taking a bit of artisitc license with the piece. After that was all wrapped up, we moved to my inner lip.
It only took about 5 minutes.. but let me tell you, it was an awkward 5 minutes. Getting a tattoo on the inside of your lip (down by the gums) is definitely an interesting feeling. It felt like when you get a shot of novacaine at the dentist... just prolonged.
So after that was done, I helped her clean up. She refused to let me give her any money (which was pretty cool , but I really wanted to give her SOMETHING), and then I came back here to Rockland.
When I got here, I met up with Neuman, Nick, Mike, and Autumn in front of Olive's. We decided that most of us were starving (Namely Nick and myself) so we went to the Blauvelt diner, where we met up with EJ Mess. After Nick dropped us all back off in Nyack, we went our separate ways.
Ok, I know what you're saying. "Who gives a shit about Nyack? Just let us see the fucking ink." Well, you're probably not saying that, but I needed something for a good segue into showing them. Unfortunately, I only have access to a webcam right now, so Digital camera pictures will be coming soon.

So yeah. That's my new ink. I hope that you'll all spare me of a permanence issue, because I know full well about all of that. So don't even bother.
