In some parts of th world, it has already happened. But, here in my quiet apartment, where the sun outside is a little too hot for December, I wait.

2012.....HELL YEAH!!!! We have all been waiting for this. The Mayan Long Count Calendar ends just a little less than 1 year from today. A cycle which has repeated twelve times before, but 2012 marks NUMBER 13.

Is it the end of the world?, Nope, I think the only thing that will end is the Mayan long count calendar. Some Cosmic evaluational shift? Cosmic evolutionary shifts happen every day, to everybody as soon as we learn something new about each other. Will we find out that we are not alone? We will always be alone, until we learn to play nice with each other.

The only real change comes by tacking a new calendar onto the wall, getting used to crossing out 2011 and writing 2012 when we sign the wrong date to anything, which should take until about April to remember.

But even though 2011 is just about over, this has been a fantastic year. I can not wait to realize the challenges for 2012. To that I say, Bring it on!!!!
