I feel very disappointed in my country and my fellow countrymen. Fist of all I can't believe a buffoon was voted into the white house. This should go beyond party lines, but it doesn't. When you make a mistake you should be adult enough to own up to it. Americans are a shallow and prideful people, to the point of going down with the ship. I don't understand how you can defend such ugliness. The hate and bigotry going on right now just makes me sad. As a Mexican American I cannot stand for racism of any kind. I can't fathom what it is like to be black in America today, but I can honestly say I have felt discrimination because of my skin color. I want to be hopeful. I want to believe in the good in people. I just felt like venting. I would like to know how other countries are viewing us right now. I just want to say that love will always prevail, no matter how hard the fight seems..
