Been a while wasn't completely my fault though a nasty storm hit my city last Wednesday.. It's funny I remember it started to rain and it sounded like it was gonna die down and I thought to myself come on mother nature is that all you got, well she did not disappoint, she lit up the sky.. Keep in mind I live in a desert, so rain is scarce and bad ass thunderstorms even more so.. It's been years since I've seen lightning dance so gloriously across my sky.. I should also mention that it was like 2 in the morning.. Sitting on the porch with a friend drinking a beer it was quite the show.. Then it started to get scary I swear the lightning was hitting my block and the thunder was shaking my home.. One particularly nasty lightning strike hit so close that it fried a socket and my modem with it.. Hence the comment about it not being completely my fault since like a dumb ass I forgot to plug it into the surge protector.. let me tell you it was quite the display damage to my home aside.. It was such a beautiful night I feel my words fail to capture it.. I got my ass kicked at work tonight, so I'm gonna enjoy a cold beer as I sit in my recliner.. I hope you enjoyed my story SG land night for now..
