Dude your flat sounds so ace. I'm sorry you have to move. Thanks for the job suggestions. I think i'll go into Oasis on Friday for a scout. The other place I was thinking was Borders - just think of the millions of books I could get discount on, for myself and selected internet buddies. Hehe. Hope the flat hunting goes well. You going to the Midlands meet at all? x
gig tonight. dj /rupture and OVe-NaXx. should be heavy.
and the custard factory's pretty cool.
im just not in the mood to drive into birmingham.
ah well, the price we pay for the rock n roll lifestyle, eh?
and im MAJORLY skint til payday. roll on wednesday!
Because there's people like me who are complete wimps when it comes to driving -- that's also why I haven't driven in a car like three years. Atleast I have the sense to stay off the road.
Thanks for the info on Knifeshandchop -- I'll check it out!
I was just agreeing with you on the fact that flat mates are indeed cocksuckers. I hate my roommate and often times catch myself wondering if he would really be missed if he were to have an "accident" and "never be heard from again".
Can i just STRONGLY recommend that everyone goes and buys a copy of dj /rupture's 'special gunpowder' album.
VERY fantastic.
check out www.negrophonic.com if you're a wuss and want a sample first.
it's sort of broken beats/mediteranean percussion/ jungle / reggae / pop / industrial dance.... ah fuck it, it's dj /rupture, that's all you need to know!
Way back when just about every band did that stuff with the lights. Dillinger still does it.
Pretty much they just turn off all the lights in the place, and point a whole bunch of strobe lights (the kind you can get just about anywhere) right at the audience. So those bands that swing their instruments around all the time look a little bit cooler doing it.
I saw Botch a pub a few blocks from where I used to live so it was pretty easy to do that, they were opening for a pretty well known local band so hardly anyone knew who they were (that's how I first heard of them when I saw them).
They were great, and I'm really surprised that they hardly got any recognition until after they called it quits.
'they went and did it... they actually went and did it...'
i'm actually scaring myself how cross this has made me. may every american who voted for Bush have their spleens explode out of their rectums. while their houses are engulfed in flames. twice.
I read and commented back to you in the thread I erased the first comment in here cause I didnt want to freak people out who came to your journal lol Have fun and light up for me
please jesus, let george dubya twatface die a thousand deaths today... i'm getting sick of having to comfort my american friends who are so ashamed of their nation for allowing that evil fucker to steal the presidency.
nevermind the whole kyoto/iraq/corporate whore/fuck the little people comments we could all make...
but seriously... just imagine what bill hicks would've said.
yeah? yeah.
I've been accused of going into the city to shtup my photographer when I went to buy him a shirt at a particular store for his birthday. I had to swear 5 times that I didn't do anything. We're very close to crumbling. As for the other thing, well, that's been put totally away since I've been dealing with this the past three weeks.
kids, don't have wild sex in the bath at ii o'clock at night... cause the landlord rings you up the next day and tells you your paying for the damage to the flat below's ceiling...
shite. ah well... no use crying over spilt bath water...
i just heard. if you love anything about independent, diverse, innovative music with integrity that ROCKED... then this is a sad day. john was quite possibly the greatest dj who has ever lived.
a dark day indeed. he was like the best older brother you ever wanted.
radio one is playing joy division's 'atmosphere'... apparently his favourite song.
hey there,
don't know where you can find the bettie page action figure on internet... my bf bought it in a punk rock music & stuff store here in italy... i know there's a 'figure shop' here in turin, and it is not so far from where i live.. you want me to check out things?
