Can i just STRONGLY recommend that everyone goes and buys a copy of dj /rupture's 'special gunpowder' album.
VERY fantastic.
check out www.negrophonic.com if you're a wuss and want a sample first.
it's sort of broken beats/mediteranean percussion/ jungle / reggae / pop / industrial dance.... ah fuck it, it's dj /rupture, that's all you need to know!
do it NOW.

Pretty much they just turn off all the lights in the place, and point a whole bunch of strobe lights (the kind you can get just about anywhere) right at the audience. So those bands that swing their instruments around all the time look a little bit cooler doing it.
I saw Botch a pub a few blocks from where I used to live so it was pretty easy to do that, they were opening for a pretty well known local band so hardly anyone knew who they were (that's how I first heard of them when I saw them).
They were great, and I'm really surprised that they hardly got any recognition until after they called it quits.
you still havent told me who this woman is
