Two for two!
I can already tell this isn't going to go very well. Reading more of "Bye Bye, Balham" it dawned on me that Richard Herring actually leads an interesting life, what with being a moderately successful stand-up comedian with a talent for being amusing. The mundane parts of a comedian's life are always going to be more interesting than the mundane parts of a mundane person's life. I'll stick it out though, partially to prove myself wrong and also because I resent the idea that I'm attempting to outright copy somebody, even if thats technically true. Please bear with me.
I saw Green Zone last night and loved it to bits. It's not quite the action-packed rollercoaster that some outlets are making it out to be, but then I'm not convinced it was ever meant to be. It's meant to be a thriller, and I certainly found it more thrilling than a black man in a red leather tracksuit surrounded by zombies. The first 20 minutes or so are pretty much relentless, wherein I actually found myself thinking "Fucking hell, it's not stopped yet" Highly recommended.
Looking forward to maybe getting out to see Shutter Island this weekend aswell, and from looking on the Flixster app on my Blackberry (yuppie!) I spotted that the next couple of months are chock full of movies I wanna see, culminating in the last 2 weeks of April with Kick Ass and Iron Man 2. I'm a fanboy. I get excited for stuff like that.
Yesterday I made a comment about not filling these things with youtube videos. If you look again, a little more closely you'll see that i said I wouldn't just fill it with youtube videos. Prefacing said video with a couple hundred words of nonsense makes it fine and dandy, and you'll just have to sit and seethe at me catching you in a technicality.
Also, how the fuck could i NOT post this? There's an impressive amount of effort gone into it, that's for sure
