I'm in a surprisingly good mood today, although that could all go horribly wrong once I go back into work.
I had an awesome weekend just hanging around with Killa_ She arrived on Friday night after I'd been to Asda to buy her food and stuff. After leaving her waiting in the cold for much longer than I really should have, I picked her up and we went back to mine. We watched "The Girl Next Door" because there were no movies between A-F that she wanted to watch.
On Saturday I couldn't think of anything decent to occupy her with. Denbigh is a bit shit, and I decided to throw the hobo challenge out and drive her out to Cheshire Oaks. While we were there I wound up spending money that I promised myself I wouldnt, but it was worth it in the end.
It's not amazing, but there's a couple of really good tracks on there, also I can play it in work without being whinged at by the people who like Leona Lewis
This is just fucking genius. I'd heard loads of awesome stuff about it but have only just got round to buying it, mostly because i begrudged paying 20 for it from WH Smith and was too lazy to order it online.
I also bought "Brick" for Amber, and she didnt like it! Coupled with her refusal to watch Brass Eye its clear she's getting ideas above her station. After getting home from our shopping excursion we
watched Ong-Bak and Brick. Annoyingly I had work Sunday morning so had to go to sleep I dropped Amber off at the station on Sunday morning and then went about my business in work, which I'm now tolerating but am still looking at leaving when I can. It's getting annoying because everybody in the store is starting to hate each other, while I'm sick of getting grief for crap like the low attachment rate on our new warranty scheme. Have a meeting in Liverpool on Thursday. Not looking forward to it because I dislike the area manager and most of the managers from my area, so I'll just be doing my best to remain invisible in the corner or something.
I've applied for a job in my local library. It's the same salary as I'm on now, and I'll save an absolute fortune on petrol because it's actually within fairly easy walking distance. Mostly though I could just do with a change, and it seems like a much less stressful job. Fingers crossed, eh?
I'm off to play with my new distortion pedal and maybe watch Season 6 of The Shield
