it seems i can't go into the bookstore without falling in love with some random girl there. this is a problem i've had for years. i go to the bookstore, see some super cute girl looking at books and spend from then till they leave trying to think of a way to introduce myself without being awkward... but it never works. there are no similarities between my many bookstore crushes other then the fact i find them in bookstores. sometimes they're short and have their hair buzzed, sometimes they're a little chubby and asian, sometimes they're dressed super geeky. it's just the fact that they're in a bookstore that makes me fall for them i guess. it implies some level of intelligence, which it seems is not a top criteria for many people my age.

I would love to be approached at a bookstore. I always see people looking at similar books to me or picking up volumes I own and I really want to chat to them about it but I'm too shy. So next time? Go for it. What's the worst that could happen? Paper cut.
