well it's the new year, and while i'm not usually one to give much of a shit (it's just a random day assigned importance by people) 2009 was an interesting year and 2010 looks to be pretty good. so i thought i'd make a couple of lists in hopes that you (the 1 and half of you who read this) would do the same. so how about one list of the five best things and five worst things about 2009 and one of the things you most hope to do/get/experience/etc. in 2010:

best parts of 2009:
1. living in Washington DC for half the year.
2. getting my job.
3. graduating college (it wasn't a big deal for me to graduate, just nice to be done)
4. spending almost an entire year single (something i hadn't done since sophmore year of high school, which was important this year as i got to learn a lot more about myself)
5. discovering vincent's (i think exactly a year ago today)


worst of 2009:
1. working for the u.s. marshal's and realizing that i no longer had any desire to work for the government.
2. graduating with a degree in criminology and realizing i might not use it.
3. losing some good friends (although in the past week we've been reconciling).
4. working for target (a month was more then enough for me).
5. having a couple of my worst panic attacks ever, early in the year.

2010 hopes:
1. continuing to successfully manage my anxiety and keep panic attacks at bay.
2. getting my own place (or at least some place where i have room mates whom are not my parents).
3. lots of adventures now that i have a steady paying job.
4. advancement in my job, aka better pay.
5. meet more interesting people.
(6. bring back the mustache, starting this spring.)
