One of the hardest things for me to do, is to support my friend's decisions even when I don't like them...but I'm learning, to be a true friend, sometimes that's what you must do.
I'm currently stuck in a really sticky living situation. I have no control over it, because I am not the landlord....my best friend is....so I'm trying to stay positive, to support him...but this new roomate we have, has (in the course of one month) lied to my face five times, looking me straight in the eye.
today she was fired from her job....and I don't believe she is able to make rent or pay the deposit and/or utilities she owes by the designated dates grant has set for us.
This would make me happy, because she will get evicted, and she will learn that not everyone is a push-over, and eventually she's going to have to learn to stick by her convictions and comittments, because everyone is going to get sick and tired of bending backwards to help her irresponsibility.
The only problem is, if she gets evicted, most likely she will not be able to take the puppy to her new place of residence, in which case I will become responsible for the dog until Grant returns from iraq. So I'm going to end up having to dish out money for food...and the obediance training etc. I don't mind, but the truth is, I didn't get a dog, because I knew I couldn't afford it....so how am I supposed to pay for someone else's dog...because they JUST realized in a week, that having a dog is a huge responsibility.
Sometimes....people are just stupid. that's the damn truth.
But still, I will remain positive, and hope she fufills what is expected of her as a tenant, so my friend doesn't get screwed over.
*Sigh*
other than that...things are good.

i'm sure there's plenty around who'd be willing to adopt the pup if that issue does come about
