Hmm a new month huh, hope it brings some damn warm weather, this cold stuff is getting a little old.
March,a month of possibilities and hopefully culinations. Last I heard I would be defending my thesis at the end of this month, not sure exactly when as one of my readers is traveling around, but it has me nervous excited, nervited if you will. I know that when I ge there and get talking I will be just fine, but until then the possibilities kinda freak me out a bit, good thing there are wonderful distractions out there.
As another month goes by it brings me that much closer to my vacations, something I look forward to all year. August is WEfest, and it will be my 7th, fourth in a row after a hiatus from my first three. Man I love going to hang out with those fabulous friends of mine, getting a drunk on and seeing live music with at least 80,000 of my closest friends. I think last year they had 103,000 or so, a record breaker for them which was awesome. It's actually really affordable too, which is always a plus.
Then November is the other trip I really look forward to as it is one of my best friends weddings to a girl who has become a friend in her own right. They will become parents here in a couple months, but the wedding will be quite the scene as well. The only part I dread a bit is the possibility of bad traveling since it is in November, but usually the winters haven't taken full effect quite yet, besides nothings keeping me from it.
Watched a movie called A Complete History of My Sexual Failures tonight, and I have to say it was better than I thought it would be. It's a documentary that the filmmaker puts together to try to find why he hasn't been able to find that certain something or certain someone. It's funny, it's sad, it's interesting, and ultimately it's hopeful. That surprised me, but I will go ahead and reccommend it if you want to take my word for it.
I can feel the creative pursuit building within me, whether it be from the imminent Spring or just the wonder of life in general, but I can feel it coming, and I best let the caged beast out!
