Alright, I have taken about 80 pictures off of facebook and hopefully all of them are of the size needed to go on here, that way you can see what I was up to on my vacation and what I will be up to next year, so those will be under the cleverly titled photo album, WEfest 10.
Mom is doing really, really well with her new knee. She has graduated from the walker to a cane, and she is getting around damn well, much better than she ever has in my lifetime so that's pretty damn cool. I am doing my good son duty and taking her to her physical therapy in the mornings when she has it, then we come home for lunch. I fix her something and we watch Rizzoli and Isles, a new procedural on TNT based on some books she reads. It's a pretty good show, and the leads are two beautiful brunettes, what's not to like.
Ben, the dog, wound up having to have surgery to fix his hip, the first treatment type didn't take so it went to that. We went without a dog in the house for a week which was just weird but he's back now and he looks like this.
It is mildly funny to see that much of him shaved, especially when he is such a hairy dog. The only bad thing is that when he walks away from you it's all asshole and testicles which is mildy disturbing. He seems to be doing really, really well, and we are supposed to try and keep him subdued for the next three weeks, which will be next to impossible, but he seems more like his happy old self, and that's all that matters.
The WEfest pictures have some that I find not so flattering, but I have chosen to share them none the less. We spent time in the lake by the camsite to beat the heat, and I went without a shirt, something I haven't done in years. At the time I was figuring fuck it, it's hot, I'm drinking, and I don't want to be the only one, now I think what the hell, I gotta get used to things like that if I am going to get right by me. See I know that I have improvements to make, but I also need to accept and embrace what I have going on if I am going to find someone to embrace it as well or something like that. Either way they are there, but luckily I am white as a ghost so there is a glare to combat it.
Life is going petty well, so enjoy what I have to share with you, and they aren't in any order by the way.
