Well I made it back home, although I wish I was stiill there, but that is how vacations usually go isn't it?!?
I had a blast, really truly enjoyed my time, didn't make it to as many of the concerts as I wanted to, but I am fine with that, saw the main ones I wanted to, so I shall survive.
I never touched one of my cameras, but enough people took photos that I will be able to steal plenty of them and post them up here in the near future, so don't fret.
The 20somethings across from us went from being hot to being annoying, especially when they went to bed before us old farts, complained about the music (even though we were following campsite rules) and generally made me wonder what the hell they were doing there. They seemed to be having fun during the day, but I never saw them go to the concert bowl, and every time we came back from the concerts they were already asleep. I never acted like that when I went in my 20s, weird.
Already got my tickets for next year on order.
Kevin kept asking me about moving to Fargo and sending "subtle" hints that I should. Gotta love one of your best friends really angling to get you to move to the town they call home, really shows what you mean to them and in turn just how much fun life could be. I have been really thinking about it for a while, guess I just have to get more serious about it now, which is just fine. I tooled around the city a bit just to get a feel for it, and I could kick around there.
The campsite we stayed at this year was right on the lake, so we could go jump in there and clean up and just hang out with some beers when it was kinda hot which was worth the sunburn I got from it.
Overall I didn't suffer to much , the new tent was great, the airbed worked well, and the hangovers were manageable which is all that matters. All but one of the nights I was one of the last ones awake, and that shows signs of my longevity, or something.
So yeah, keep your eyes peeled for pictures in the near future, and I might tell more tales, but for now this is what I can think of...maybe I am still recovering.
