Mom's knee replacement went well, she's in pain because, well it's surgery for one, and two they have you start physical therapy right away. Other than that she is doing well, and she will be even better when the pain subsides and her knee works. She might not be 100% but it's been messed up since she was in a car accident at the age of 20, so longer than I have been alive her knee hasn't worked properly, so this is a good step forward.
My vacation is coming up, and after talking to my friend Kevin yesterday I am even more jacked than I was before. I built a 463 song playlist to bring along, so that should keep everything moving smoothly with minimal chance of repeat. We have a pretty amazing crew going this year, we're tryin out a different campsite this year which should be fun, it's even closer to the concert area, and it's on the side with the entrance close to the Leinie Lodge. That's the booth I go to for my beer at the WEfest, gotta have my Honey Weiss. Got friends from my hometown and my old stomping grounds going, the stick in the muds aren't going this year, we don't have actual schedules this year which means Kevin and I can wander around during the day. Yeah it's going to be a good, good time.
Dad's dog is still on the mend, but he was whimpering a bit when he laid down a couple times, and I think it's simply because he isn't on pain meds anymore, they told me if it kept going on to call the vet, but I gave him some ibuprofen, and he's been fine all day, the only time he whimpered a bit was when he was moving to quickly in kitchen and his feet kinda went out from under him, otherwise he's been just fine. Tail a waggin, happy to be around, gotta love dogs.
The Braves are on a tear, unfortunately they dropped one tonight, but they still have a damn good lead over the Mets and Phillies. We're the real deal this year people, and I love it, I freaking love it. Baseball is kind of a big deal, my favorite sport to watch and pay attention to followed closely by college hockey (University of North Dakota) and a not so distant third and fourth is football, pro (Dallas Cowboys) and college (UND and the University of Montana). Basically have sports to follow year round, but I will drop it all for Baseball, or at least to check the scores.
Yep that covers the last couple days, any questions?

My interests are subject to change without notice, so what suits me now may not suit forever, but I"m ok with that. If this particular gig don't happen I might find the better fit. I trust the universe to bring me the best and highest good. My moods might not seem like that lately, because I am having some struggles still with the big D, but I do trust. This might sound corny, but let go and let God is sometimes the way to (let) go, you know?
A clown at children's parties ... *shudder*. Someday when we actually meet I will tell you a terrifying story about clowns at children's parties.
Any more news on the Jo front, or has all that fizzled?
