This was my night last night.
Now I love fog, always have, but this shit is ridiculous when you're trying to move trains around, what with not being able to eyeball if the switches are lined and whatnot. Other than that it's great. (which one of those emoticons is a sarcastic smile?)
See my love of fog is probably because of Poe, and a dream of London at the turn of the century.
Some of my favorite memories of fog occurred after I left m American Gothic Honors English class back at the University of North Dakota. I got to sit in class with these interesting people, wonderful teacher, and fascinating writers and then I moved on to my Wester Civ class. In the fall, the walk across campus would sometimes have fog blanketing the area, those are the days I would get a slight tingle at the back of my neck and a subtle smile on my face. The best of all these days are the ones that had crows in the trees talking to one another, my God I loved those days. Those are the days when you just want to stop and take it in, let some time pass, let some life pass, let everything settle in on you knowing that all is right in the world and even though you can't see far in front of you, you know that you don't have to fear what's there because what's there is inspiration, chance, and wonder.

Thursday night is the only night I watch television and it's all NBC. Community is hilarious! I can't wait to get it on dvd.
