Yea! I just baked some bread with a sourdough starter that I developed myself.
It was easy, you can do it too. Just take a jar and put one part rye flour and one part water. Cover the jar with a towel and place in a warm part of your kitchen. Stir daily. You can speed up the process by adding a whole unwashed organic plum. Take the plum out after you see the bubbles in your starter. Feed with equal parts water and rye flour (wheat flour will work too). You can retard growth by putting the starter in the fridge.
