Can you smell it?
Spring. Finally under way.
I don't know about all of you, but I am certainly glad that winter is finally over! I don't know why but every year I hate it more and more. I would rather sweat my ass off with 98-100 degree days than freeze. I think the whole lack of sunlight thing might have something to do with it too. I dunno. Just glad its starting warm up is all i'm sayin'.
So for any fellow geeks out there into fantasy, I just started reading Pratchett's discworld novels. Damn are they funny! If you haven't read any, you should, and don't be put off by the first book, "The Color of Magic", its good, but so far it is the least funny and thats still saying alot, cuz its not like the book is dry or anything. I think I'm getting ready to start book 5 or 6 (although I don't think its terribly important to read them in a particular order) and the best are the three that have had rincewind in them. Hes so cowardly that he has almost managed to come around full circle into bravery. Almost, but not quite.
I have also read Night Watch and am starting Day Watch. So far the books are way better than the movie (but isn't that usually the case?), although I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, and liked the "treaty signing" in the movie better.
Hmmm. Well, thats about all for now I guess, never really sure what people want to see.
