Wow, I'm really crap at this whole updating thing aren't I.
Back from London and Hastings, got 4ish days back at home, and am back in London on thursday. So... where to start....
Worked at the Ideal Homes show for 6 days. and that was an interesting experience. according to my billing on the stand where I'm working, I'm an expert interior designer and colour consultant. This was big news to me!!!! but I think I was able to bluff very convincingly had to wander aimlessly around London in the evenings to try and find somewhere good to eat. And the hotel I stayed in was one of the worst hotels I've ever been to in my life!!! No bar, internet access was restricted to one pc in the hotel lobby, and worse still... for breakfast, there was no bacon. no bacon!?! what the hell is all that about? There was a slice of reformed turkey breast instead
Non smoking.... ah, where to start. maybe I should draw up a couple of lists.
Bad points of non smoking: Constant bad mood, irritability, trouble sleeping, tiredness, heavier drinking, decreased boredom threshold.
Good points of non smoking: Er.... can I get back to you on that one?
I'm attempting to soldier on though, a couple of slips along the way. But I'm sure everything will work out fine.
Working in hastings sucks and blows simutaneously, I have to pay 3 for two hours unreliable internet access, and spend all day doing a job that I despise. Too far from Brighton to see my friends or get a little tattoo work done, yet still very close.
Oh well. At least the sun is shining and it's got moderately warmer. So at least some things are looking up. Only 4 more weeks of this hell on earth, and then back to some form of normality. And some time off too
Back at the ideal homes show for easter weekend, bad timing but oh so much overtime! I should be pulling in close to 100 per day!
Which is nice!
Glad also that happiness seems to be creeping back into the lives of my friends too, let's hope this continues.
Until later.....
