I'm back, I survived!
I actually had quite a cool time, I ended up going to some rock bar in Bridgend that was populated mainly by schoolkids, I do so love the way they do their best to stare at you in the way that says "you're way to old and uncool to be in here!" Ha! fuck 'em! I ended up getting most drunk and didn't sink into a spiral of despair - which was nice!
Work was kind of odd though, there was absolutely no need for me to go! but I did get a phone call from my boss, I think he offered me a promotion, but I'm a bit wary - I hate corporate types, and that's what I think he wants me to be.

I got paid - Yay!! biggrin I've just been to the supermarket and bought some fine steak! That's right, only the best for pay day!

This week I have been mainly listening to:

Biohazard - State of the world address (motherfucker!)
Eagles of death metal - Peace, love, death metal
Kyuss - Welcome to sky valley
tom waits - Small change

I have read (again) Senor Vivo and the coca lord by Louis DeBernieres (I can't recommend his books highly enough to anyone)

I started this week on a really low note, I just felt really at odds with the world, now, for no good reason I'm flying high again! So I'm enjoying it while it lasts!

If a cautery pen is used for branding , you can get some rather intricate patterns. My branding is a multi-strike, but is still great. I looked at your tat- you could definitely get branding work done in the negative spaces.Nice piece BTW. I dont think that branding would necessarily destroy a tattoo- it would depend on the tattoo and I think whether the scabs from the brand healed cleanly-and thats all a matter of taking care not to pull the scabs off etc. Really, though, Im not a pro- just a satisfied customer. I would think you'd have to find a brander in the U.K. and talk to them. Have you checked BMEzine? There has to be some directory of piercers and branders in the U.K. Ask your tattooist. Hope I'm helping some. smile
