Well, let it not be said that I don't listen to you, my most adoring public. You win, SmallChange goes and The_Happy_Pig returns. Although due to past computer breakdowns/reformats, I lost my profile picture, thanks to xBellex for your help in these matters.
so, if anyone doesn't like the picture, the name change or anything else like that, feel free to suck my ample balls.
so, the extended period of being blue arsed fly boy has finally abated. It came to a close with a rather manic day where I broke my personal best for miles travelled in one day - 578 miles and about 12 hours behind the wheel. Thanks boss, you're the best.
So now I have to get my head set into the making clothes frame of mind. Once I get into it, there's no problem, the problem is starting it, I'm staring at a rather big bin bag of assorted material, thinking that somehow I need to make one pair of britches, one french military jacket, two shirts, one waistcoat and make copious alterations to a lab coat, all to be ready a week on Friday. Hmm... Does anyone have any motivation I might be able to borrow?
But fortunately, there is a storytelling festival going on in one of my local pubs after I have to do all that, which I'm liking the sound of, lots of historical filth and bawdiness, lewd poetry and ancient cycles and the like. Some performed by a friend of mine who is always fantastic (I saw him perform the cattle raid of Cooley once and he had me entranced for about 3 hours).
But I'm glad I'm kind of winding down now. a great many of my worries have now been dealt with, so I'm now a bit more free to indulge myself with things like watching the recent thunderstorms from my window and noticing the leaves on the tree in my garden move from a deep green to a blood red. I do love this time of year. I love autumn rain and walking in it, I like dark evenings and the bite of cold fresh mornings.
But anyhoo, I'm planning another trip up to the big smoke after I get paid next month to get more done to my tattoo , you never know, it may actually get finished this time (So get your liver in gear TheQuestion
). So that's always something to look forward to, especially as I'll probably be staying with Rhi and Tim again, and they're awesome.
There's more stuff, but I'm pretty sure that you probably don't really want to hear it all. But I will finish up by saying that for the first time in quite a while, I'm starting to feel that I actually quite like being who I am.
