I'm not really one for enjoying those days devoted to a particular subject. Like national chip day, national aerobics day. Even the big ones, like breast cancer day and remembrance day. Not that I'm miserable or too self centred for that kind of thing, but remembrance shouldn't be confined to a day, if there's things worth thinking about, why confine yourself to just one day? The major illnesses are a permanent spectre hanging over everyone's heads and I give them more thought than just a days worth. I suppose I never really saw tthe need for them.
Until now that is. Now, this used to be something that weighed upon my head and heart for quite some time. Then it just dissapeared, I gave it no thought at all it was if it was simply gone from my mind. Even when confronted in the face I managed to ignore it.
But then I heard about this day, and it got me thinking again, casting my mind back to how it used to be and wondering if it could be again.
I would find it very gratifying if as many of you could observe it with me.

Verily brother I shall join with you on that special day, and we shall walk into a library, adorned with Slaytanic Whermacht shirts, and bellow "...bastard sons begat your c**ting daughters..." until the police arrive with nightsticks...here endeth the lesson
