Right.
That's it.
I've bought you gifts, I've looked after you. I nurtured you through your sickness when we moved. Whenever you're feeling a little run down, I'm here to help you out. I'd even go as far as to say that I dote on you.
And yet, this is how you repay my hours of tender care. After all the times we've been together, and we had some really good times. But you decide to through it all back in my face. Why? WHY GOD DAMN IT, WHY? It can't be that I've not paid you enough attention.
I know it's been a problem since we moved, but I really thought that you'd settle into the new routine. I had really high hopes for us. It was gonna be you and me against the world kiddo. But those times will just never be will they?
But they could be. I think I have a answer, one that would suit us both. It'll mean a lot of work for both of us to start with. But I've decided to put you on a leash.
Well, a massive network cable to be honest with you. I know it means I'll have to painstakingly attach it to all the skirting boards and stuff, but things just can't go on this way. you still only give me about 20 minutes at a time on the network. It's caused all kinds of MSN misery, not to mention the hundreds of broken downloads that I can't delete for no readily apparent reason. I think it's for the best.
It's our last chance, If it doesn't work. then I fear I may just lose it and become violent towards you. And let's face it, neither of us want that do we?

Giving misbehaving bits of technology a good hard whack every now and then is often the only way to go.
