So, I went speed dating.
Surprisingly, it was a lot of fun! I met some really nice girls, drank until stupid o'clock in the hotel it was taking place in by befriending some paying guests (bloody residents only bar!). there were some really nice people there and only one particularly scary one. It was a bit nerve wracking going in there though. But I got quite a nice little boost to my confidence by have 4 girls decide that I was nice enough to see again. So yeah baby, I'm hot property!
. It was a bit wearing though, and by the time I got to the 18th girl, it was starting to get a bit much. Quite hard to keep track of girls too, there was only 4 minutes, and you got a tiny piece of card to make notes on. I felt it quite rude to sit there and scribble notes whilst I was talking to them, so I'd hastily jot something down at the end of the 'date'. So on Sunday, I've got a date with a rather nice young lady, who, according to my notes 'Likes cheese and drinks bitter'. Which are by the way, rather important criteria for me.
So yeah, I've been feeling rather good since then. Athough a little irked by the fact that I texted 2 of the girls who picked me, and haven't heard anything back yet. Oh well, not a problem.
Also, my birthday is looming ahead. Now, I don't really like celebrating my birthday that much. It wasn't ever a big thing when I was a kid, it'd be just a day when I'd get given new underwear by my mum and we'd have something nice for tea. So I am just thinking of bundling off to Brighton for a weekend to avoid it. I'd like to get my tattoo finished as well, it's been irking me that I've not been able to get any more done to it in ages. I've just got to the point now where I want it finished. Also I've not been down there for ages, and I should really see my friends down there too, it's been a while and everything.
Internet's still being a cock, not quite as much, something seems to have been ironed out. SG is still really slow though. Anyone else having slowdown when they're on the site?

hmmm...well i've only been to brighton once and we went to pav tav and a place called BG which gained my approval out of the fact they played eighties matchbox b-line disaster and peaches...but i guess it depends what you're after really. Let me know and i'll ask my mate for you...she has all the answers!
