Things I've learned over the last week or so.

1. Don't try and be funny, really, just don't.
2. I can make a shirt in only 4 hours.
3. Employment agencies suck ass.
4. X-Men 3 is surprisingly disappointing.
5. Trying to get lunch in zizzi's italian bistro is like tying to get blood out of a stone.
6. I can't drink red wine anymore....

I don't like the colours. It's like a 15 year old girl has designed it...

X-men 3 does suck.
spamtwo:
the only things I really hate about the design are the colours and the script font they've used, the rest would be ok with a few tweaks

Down...and they were magnificent! The current guitarist from Venom popped up for 30 seconds of guitar during the encore to keep the 'Toon' side represented! I always seem to enjoy the gigs that I don't expect much from, the most! They were incredibly heavy too! smile

It's good to get it out of your system. Aaaaaand...relax. smile

So how many times can one write and then delete a journal entry?

Answer: Many.

In brief, I woke up this morning in a fucking foul mood. It ebbed for a bit, but it's been there all day.

But, in a dramatic turn of events, I know why I feel so pissed off. But that's no real good thing.

The crux of the matter is...

So yeah, the weekend had highs and lows.

It was great to see Katja and her friends again, I've not been down to Brighton for ages. The train journeys sucked, but there is something quite satisfying for a small town fella like myself to navigate across the greater london metropolitan area armed with a good hat and quite a lot of charm.

there was an...

A week in bed is never a bad thing! There are, of course, certain prerequisites that make it better - large bar of chocolate, toffee popcorn, lots of tea, comfy bedsocks, something/one to cuddle.

Aaah, you see - the sky isn't blue. Colour is a perception, so (arguably) it doesn't exist at all.

Fuck, so tired.

I would appear to be the incredible oversleeping man.

And I'm more than aware that I need to update properly, and I feel that I've been neglecting some of you. But bear with me. Today I have to work in St. Austell (In fact I'm supposed to be there as I type this) then I need to get back, pack, catch a...

I'm back.

I'm tired, I had a really long drive back thanks to the M6 being closed for about 10 miles, which meant I had to take a detour of about 80 miles.

And I have to figure out how I get to retur the hire car a day late and still manage to be able to get to work for 8:30 tomorrow morning.

And...

Is it the Tick live-action dealey, or the cartoon? Both interest me!

It was going to be an Elvis, then we found out he doesn't do the ceremony itself, he does a mock one, then you have the real thing afterwards. We'll visit the Elvis museum instead. If it's still open.

And thank you! biggrin

Lets go away for a while,
You and i, to a strange and distant land,
Where they speak no word of truth,
But we dont understand anyway.

Holiday.
Far away, to stay.
On a holiday.
Far away. lets go today, in a heartbeat!
Heartbeat! heartbeat!

Dont bother to pack your bags, or your map.
You wont need them where were going.
Were going where the...

I'm not really one for enjoying those days devoted to a particular subject. Like national chip day, national aerobics day. Even the big ones, like breast cancer day and remembrance day. Not that I'm miserable or too self centred for that kind of thing, but remembrance shouldn't be confined to a day, if there's things worth thinking about, why confine yourself to just one day?...

Verily brother I shall join with you on that special day, and we shall walk into a library, adorned with Slaytanic Whermacht shirts, and bellow "...bastard sons begat your c**ting daughters..." until the police arrive with nightsticks...here endeth the lesson wink

So I'm a little drunk now.

Question:

It's 5 past 11 and I have to drive to Plymouth tomorrow mornong. Do I crack open another bottle or not? If so, which one? I have a light and fruity Australian red, or a bottle of cotes du rhone.

And I've just watched Commando. Fucking awesome. Absolute wide scale death and destruction to a steel drum soundtrack,...

I know nothing about wines (and I'm about 10 hours too late for my advice to count biggrin), so here's a question for you.

Do you know the stoopid link between Commando and Toy Story?

Right.

That's it.

I've bought you gifts, I've looked after you. I nurtured you through your sickness when we moved. Whenever you're feeling a little run down, I'm here to help you out. I'd even go as far as to say that I dote on you.

And yet, this is how you repay my hours of tender care. After all the times we've been together,...
