Today was a day for my baby to be pampered. That's right, the Tahoe had her day today. I took her and got her washed, waxed, vacuumed, and scented. Then I went and got the oil changed and finally got the state inspection done...a few months late.
I think I'll fix the bumper and rear driver side panel, like I've been talking about since it happened. It's minor, but I need to get it done. Insurance will cover most of the work, I've just gotta get them $500 for the deductible, and they'll get the rest. Then I'll turn around, sell the bumper and get the rollpan I've been talking about getting.
I've had the thing for oh...coming up on 2 years, and have yet to name her. I suck. But she looks pretty. Fuck selling her, she's my baby before any other.
I ran last night at about midnight. The school down the street is on the street light grid, so the lights don't turn off at night around the track. So I did some midnight running after dropping The Machinist off at Blakely's, came home to a few Screwdrivers (mmm), showered and crashed.
So I've listened to the entirity of A Life Once Lost's "Hunter" and I have to say that, however not a candidate for album of the year, it is a nice record. Some of the tracks stand out, but for the most part alot of it seems redundant...There's not a whole lot of variation in sound from song to song. Overall though, I'm enjoying it.
I'm waiting for Zombie Apocalypse's new release, as well as the new release from Circle of Dead Children. Then way down the line Between the Buried and Me, Curl Up and Die, and Every Time I Die have new stuff coming out, as well as the Agoraphobic Nosebleed discography Volume 1.
Work is quite awesome. I've heard little on the office job, so I'm looking elsewhere in the mean time. Hah! I might just go down to Hot Topic and get a job...Why not?!
So I think instead of Mexico this year, the family is talking about going to Hawaii...which would be fucking amazing. Brown people everywhere! Only...there's brown people everywhere here, but Hawaiians are a different, more exotic brown I guess. Either way...ocean and vacation sound awesome.
Thus far the week hasn't been too emotional around here...We'll see how it ends up.

yeah man, when I was looking up the web address for Jillian's Boston I discovered it's a franchise. Apparently there's one not that far from where I live. Looks like I have something else to do on the weekends
