I got messages from a friend in Philly about 2 friends.First phone call.... Shane Patezel living in VA Beach (possibly stationed there..he was in the Army)had a nasty motorcycle accident and snapped his neck. My friend told me he was on life support and they were going to pull him off tonight. Second call....(good news) Shane opened his eyes (bad news) Ron Ramono was found dead in his bed this morning. He was 24. He JUST came down on Oct 9th to go to Purgatory w/ me. He loved it and he was planning to come down next weekend for Resurrection and stay w/ me for Skinny Puppy @ Tremont. I had heard he was using "H" again. That was something in his past & I had thought he was over it. As of now, his death is still being questioned but, it might be an OD. Ron knew better than to bring it around me I guess. He was going to School in Cali. and took a semester off & planned to return in Jan. He was a lovable and sweet man. I didn't know him very well but, I was trying to. I could tell he was lonely and he had a huge heart.

I'm still worried about Shane. I'm not sure if he'll be paralyzed. If so, he would NOT want to live. He is a very active and tough man he wouldn't want to spend the rest of his life in a chair.

It's been a horrible day. I may have to go up to Roanoke for a funeral this weekend.
