I've got all of five people on my friends list here on SG right now and absolutely no idea if anyone else ever sees my journal here. But this is cool and important to me so I'm recording it in every permanent record I've got:

Los Angeles' legendary cyberpunk band STG has reformed, and it just so happens that I'm the keyboardist. We made an album ( http://rottenrecords.com/store/shopping/product_details.php?id=221&PHPSESSID=97316032c43f6b631b3d1e1368da4fa5 ) for Rotten Records back in '93 and there have been a couple of brief if failed temporary incarnations of the lineup since we all last played together 12 years ago (here's the official history: http://www.12inch.com/stg ), but STG never replaced me on keys. And I haven't been on stage in about 10 years since playing keys early on to help Chad Bishop launch Idiot Stare out of the ashes of STG. Instead I had been concentrating on other things in my life. Hey, that's the best cop out I've got. :p
We've been rehearsing 2-3 times a week with the whole band for the past few weeks plus several "technical sessions" with me, shAmii/Jamie and "the other Chad" programming the computers a couple of nights a week on top of that. And this past week, all that hard work started to come to fruition! With one rehearsal left to go, there is still work to do polishing our set, but we sounded right. We were ON! We sounded like a band again: hard, fast, loud, noisy, powerful and solid. No doubt about it. We're ready.
Ready for what? Well since you asked, LA's DJ Thermal Detonator is promoting a new club called Quarantine, and we're headlining opening night! This is what I do! Don't miss it!
