So...It has been a looooong ass time since I've updated...All the way back in April for crying out loud...
But you need not fret folks, nor need you fear the worst...I have simply been very busy with school and have otherwise been enjoying myself fully. I'll give you the lowdown:
Since the last time I updated I:
have been to Seattle to visit my cousin, and stayed a whole weekend with her, took many pictures, saw the Seattle underground, went to Green Lake, and saw some Bald eagles. Also, I was priveleged enough to see the Troll underneath the bridge, a huge statue that only locals really know about...It is holding a real VW Beetle that someone abandoned in its large stone hand. I took pictures...Will post soon.
have been to several parties, and visited with several friends whom I have not seen in quite a while. Good times.
have been playing WoW less and less; I seem to on a bit of a burnout phase...
have seen Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith on premiere night. I have to admit, when you keep your expectations low, you're much easier to please. It was, overall, a good movie, though it still left much to be desired to a die-hard SW fan like myself...Many loose ends never did receive a proper tying up as they should have...But then again, maybe I'm asking too much of good ol' George when I ask him to remember the movies he already made and the stories that previously wrote...Yea, sure, it showed Luke and Leia being born, it showed Anakin becoming Darth Vader, but it was the little things that bothered me...Which I shall refrain from getting into.
have read several books, The Catswold Portal, Sense and Sensibility, and most recently, Pride and Prejudice.
have started playing soccer somewhat regularly with a group of people who gather near my apartment complex. Also, I ride my bike to work at least three times a week.
have wonderful news. Kyle is finally on the mend, and is starting to be able to eat more and more foods, though both of us are much more conscious about what we are eating and I believe this experience has been somewhat beneficial in that respect.
have been heartbroken the seasonal endings of two of my favorite shows, Gray's Anatomy and Desperate Housewives...My only consolation is that Battlestar Galactica will begin soon in June.
have almost finished up the spring term, and have signed up for classes in the summer and fall, so I plan on being somewhat busy, though the class in the summer is going to be for fun since it is an illustration class.
And last but not least....
have been to the Sasquatch Festival over Memorial Day weekend. It was a BLAST! The backdrop of the Gorge behind the huge ampitheater was simply amazing. I got to see Jem, Bloc Party, M.C. Newman, Joanna Newsom, Arcade Fire, Modest Mouse, and The Pixies!
Modest Mouse was FREAKIN AWESOME. I don't think they'll ever play that well again...I mean, the backdrop of the setting sun behind the gorge, the huge area of the floor that everyone gathered, including myself, crowd surfing, everyone all sitting on the hill...They were just...wow. I <3 the Mice sooo much. I also bough some paraphenalia, which I have very little of, so I was happy to add a Mouse tee shirt to my tiny collection. ALSO:
THE PIXIES HAD THE COOLEST NIGHT SHOW EVARRRR!! The light show they had going was absolutely splediforous. I was exceedingly happy when they finally played "Debaser," the song of which has been the pleasure of many of my friends, and my own. My only regret is that they were the last band that played, and I had been out in the sun for over 12 hours at that point, and was exhausted, so I wasn't as energetic as I would've liked to have been.
*sigh* If only The Killers had been there...That would have made my day complete.
Unfortunately, I was dumb enough to listen to the rule of "NO DIGI CAMS" or I would have had many pictures....Because there were MANY people who brought their cameras anyway...and I should have done the same.
After Sasquatch, we all came home, (I had to drive the 5 hour length of it) and I slept from 5:30 pm to 9 am the next day. Yes folks, I was 15.5 hours tired.
Well then, there you have it. My update. Adieu.

p.s. Many of you will notice that I am now the_cheat once again. I missed my old name, had to have it back.
