I was quite relieved today when I realised I was ill and not just fucking stupid like I was beginning to feel. So I went to bed and watched Pump Up The Volume, which I have to say is poor in comparison with Heathers, mainly because Christian Slater is much sexier when he's evil.

I might be able to get 7 an hour doing bank...

Well, Orville the Duck has more talent than anything on Pop Idol, plus, along with Mr Blobby, has already had a chart topper. Which just goes to show how low standards are nowadays really.

Ok so I'm a retard when it comes to computers, and I can't upload photos to 'my pics', anyone want to help me?

Went to Hull Fair, it was great, I got an evil yapping dog toy with light up green demon eyes and I'm calling it Dave.

The newly refurbished library in Scar is open! You may think, God this girl is boring, but...

Could do with speaking to you again soon, seeing as this night out is down to us.

Me and Emmi (landlady woman) have agreed, this has been the best night ever.
Got all dressed up to meet another housemate in the pub with all the baby dykes from the Uni gay & lesbian club, and then go onto Gay Night which would have been pretty funny, except that Ruth's phone kept dying and we ended up going home without having one drink...

I get to be a star when I die. That's really cool. smile

Big rides are fun! I love me some roller coasters!

Speaking of big rides... I'd also like someone in my bed. Humping the body pillow just doesn't do it for me...

The Streets
Stay Positive

Cos this world swallows souls
And when the blues unfold
It gets cold silence burns holes
You're going mad
Perhaps you always were
But when things was good you just didn't care
This is called irony
When you most need to get up you got no energy
Time and time shit'll happen
The dark shit's unwrapping
But no-one's listening your mates...

I was getting all excited about going to Thai Boxing and when I walked in the gym there were a load of muscly serious-looking blokes and no women, I thought 'fuck, how am I supposed to spar with them?' then the guy that runs the place told me it was Fighter's Night, I was pretty relieved except the two nights when they have mixed sessions,...

Hey there, cheers for the comment. Erm, annoyingly it appears the Donnas gig has been cancelled (went to get me ticket today despite being struck down with flu so was NOT best pleased when I found out! frown ). Ah well...I'm sure there'll be another decent gig around here soon if you fancy meeting up and going to see some good music (I think the next one I'm going to is Electric Soft Parade on November 1st which is a Sat night - I have to leg it back from the footy at Nottingham to see it which should be fun! eeek )

I do know Headingley actually as it's on the road into Leeds from where I live. Rarely go drinking there though mainly 'cos it's full of soft southern student softies - give me the city centre any day! biggrin

Good to hear you've had a good week - reminds me of a quote I once read which goes something along the lines of "sex is a lot like self-expression - the less you find yourself doing it, the less you find you want to." Very true... wink

Anyway, I'm off to rest for a bit and hopefully sleep this annoying flu off. Speak soon. smile

Gone to Leeds for a couple days...
Yorkie, I'll have pink bunches, a red military-type jacket and I'll be with a load of lasses dressed as bunny girls, so if you see me come say hi, unlikely as it is...
Speak to people when I get back kiss

Hey there, hope you have fun! Or, as you'll probably be reading this when you get back, that should probably be "had fun".

Anyways, putting my "three days into the future" head on, if you went to see Chris T-T at the Vine on Thursday or Simple Kid at Joseph's Well on Friday or you were just out round the record shops in the city centre on Saturday afternoon then I was probably there as well and either we missed each other or we have in fact now met which is gonna make this whole sentence look kind of weird and...oh man, this fortune-telling lark is doing me head in, I think I need a lie down. confused

Either way, hope you had a good 'un and speak soon. wink

It's Hull Fair weather, which means when it gets cold, and dark early, and you feel the need for a hat and glubs.
I think I must be very happy and settled at the moment, all my housemates are home and the general pottering about of various people made me feel like I was all cosy at my mum's house after coming home from school....

Yorkie's Survival Tips #1 - If chased by a Fred Durst lookalike, simply hold up a picture of Britney Spears. He will promptly start blubbing and probably need to sit down. While he is thus incapacitated this will give you the chance to escape. biggrin

Good to hear things are going well for ya - will get in touch with you about the Donnas gig at some point a bit nearer the time but hopefully it'll be a cool night! smile

Oh and don't worry - the shirt in question has long since been consigned to a box in the attic. I think I'll leave those sort of fashion statements to Incubus from now on... wink

I passed my degree, got a 3rd like but shit, I thought I was gonna have to redo the year and God I'm relieved, my mum was nearly in tears when I told her cos I've had a bad couple of years what with one thing and another, and erm yeah. I've got the Countdown music playing in my head for some reason,...

Hey, congrats! smile Now you're ready to join the rest of us out here in the big bad nasty place known as "the real world". Take it from me, it sucks. But you'll love it really. biggrin

Good to hear you had a fun time at the FLC gig as well - kind of wish I'd had the money to go to that one meself as I've seen 'em live twice and really enjoyed it. Instead I had to make do with the Cosmic Rough Riders but I enjoyed it so what the hell...

Oh yeah and before I go, good luck with the punk lad too!! wink

Congrats and good luck in the real world known here in Indiana as hell

Gone away for a couple days, when I get back I want to know,
1) what's the best fight you've ever been in?
2) who has been the most influential person in your life ever, Trevor?
kiss byee

Generally, I avoid fights with people (I know, I'm a wimp). How about being involved in anti-apartheid protests? Apart from that, nearly got in a pretty dumb fight over a pool table at the pub once.
I would have to say my Dad, followed by my wife.
lucky105:
I've never been in a fight before. blackeyed

The most influential person ever -- spankymcnuts, possibly cheesy but true.

I'm off to Manchester on Fri to see the Criminals, having to go on my own like the sad geek I am but hey, in fact I'm quite pleased since it will be the first time I've done something like this without somebody there to hold my hand and I feel quite grown-up. Besides, it's easy to get talking to people at gigs if you've...
