Help needed...
How do I convince my mum it's perfectly safe for me to go to a meet-up with people I met on an internet porn site, and sleep at somebody's (parent's) house? Hmm.

Well, if you are going to tell her, emphasize how it's an online community for body piercing and tattoos. My mum knows all about SG, and understands it is a community, not just a bunch of monkey-spankersbiggrin
