All the crazy ladies where I work are kicking off at the minute. They keep crying and gibbering and running away, this on top of the fact one's had a hip operation so we have to look after her and take her to the toilet and stuff...

I couldn't help but raise a wry smile reading this again - I was on the bus into Leeds the other night and there was a very drunk 60-something bloke "entertaining" the rest of the bus with his renditions of Eddie Cochrane songs. The sound of a cat going through a wrangler didn't even come close. Fortunately, he got off the bus halfway into the city...
